Spotlight: Maiden hurdle winner at Fairyhouse in January and bounced back from a couple of lesser efforts when third of 20 in a handicap hurdle back at Fairyhouse in April; off 82 days and has to prove she handles quicker ground but hard to put a line through.
Spotlight: Scored at Gowran in November and bounced back from a lesser run over this C&D when winning at Clonmel on return in May; wasn't beaten far back at that venue subsequently and suspicion there's still more to come from her.
Spotlight: Improving for this yard, hitting the crossbar in two maiden hurdles before justifying favouritism over 3m here latest; return to this trip looks fine and opening mark is workable so ought to be a major player.
Spotlight: Both wins at Wexford, the latest from 9lb lower in May and respectable efforts twice since, finishing third at Clonmel before disqualified second at Wexford a week ago (rider weighed in light); could be in the mix again but best form is over shorter.
Spotlight: Form dipped when tailed off in a claiming hurdle at Roscommon earlier this week and her best efforts have come over shorter trips.
Spotlight: Has shown ability without threatening in maiden hurdle company, although it was a poor run at Wexford last time out; handicapper has given her a squeak from this opening mark.
Spotlight: Back to form when beaten half a length over this C&D on May's return to action but she was tailed off at Sligo subsequently; needs to bounce back and this looks like a difficult assignment for the grade.
Spotlight: Second reserve; maiden hurdle winner at Tramore last August but hasn't kicked on since.
Spotlight: Came on from return to land a handicap hurdle at Tramore in April but tailed off twice since; return to this sort of trip may help.
Spotlight: Hit the crossbar in a maiden hurdle at Wexford in May 2024 and highly promising effort on return from a year off at Listowel last month when fourth of 12; ought to relish the step back up in distance and has to be high on the shortlist.
Spotlight: Modest point form and same story in three runs in maiden hurdles; now tries handicapping with plenty to prove.
Spotlight: No wins since a bumper success on her debut in 2022 but has generally held her form well and ran her race again when a distant third in a Punchestown maiden hurdle last month; holds no secrets from the handicapper as a result though.
Spotlight: Four-time hurdle winner who got off the mark over fences at Tramore last time out; may need a bit further these days but warrants respect from her 1lb lower hurdle mark.
Spotlight: Nine-race maiden who hit the crossbar in a claiming hurdle at Limerick in January; hasn't managed to build on that since and may want a return to slower ground.
Spotlight: A 27-race maiden; wasn't disgraced when fifth at Fairyhouse when last seen but this looks like a tough race on return from five months off.
Spotlight: Third reserve; 14-race maiden and hasn't shown enough for her new yard.
Spotlight: Six-race maiden but has shown enough ability to suggest she'll be winning races and good chance the step up in trip will suit on handicap debut; interesting with first-time cheekpieces on.
Spotlight: A 10-race maiden; took a step back in the right direction when third at Thurles in November; however, hasn't shown much in two runs this term.
Spotlight: Is 0-11 under rules and hard to fancy having been out of form in points/hunter chases in recent times.
Spotlight: Won a bumper for Willie Mullins but has failed to complete in four of her five hurdle starts, including both runs for her new yard; fell on handicap debut when last seen and comes with plenty of risks attached, despite a workable looking mark.
Spotlight: First reserve; Flat winner who has shown ability over timber but best watched after 475 days off.

This looks competitive for a mares' handicap hurdle with a chance taken on the handicap debutante KATES CHOICE. She's been shaping with promise in maiden hurdle company and may improve for a step up in trip on handicap debut here. Ballinearla Girl shaped like she would appreciate more of a stamina test on her return and could be the one to give the selection most to think about. Last time out winner Nytol is another obvious threat on handicap debut having run two big races at this venue. [Phill Anderson] Show less
